Canadian Kids with Cameras How to Make a Movie

 Select your topic.

 Make a story board/outline/script.

 Practice using the camera so you are familiar with its functions. (delete/movie making/zoom)

 Consider how you will be judged. (see Rubrics) Using an external mike and additional lighting will help improve the quality of your movie. Remember, too, that keeping your movie shorter is better.

 Begin capturing your images/movie complete with background music/narration or special effects like titles.

 Now begin editing using a software program like:  Pinnacle Studio 8 or iMovie.

 Save it on to a CD or DVD and send it along with your application to:
